Over half of the 130km of pistes in Alta Badia are marked blue, so beginners have a world of runs to explore. Families and beginners especially tend to like the wide, snowy meadows on the Piz La Villa, Piz Sorega, and Pralongia plateau.
Expert skiers can choose to challenge themselves on more demanding slopes such as the Vallon slope, while more relaxed experienced folks will love the wide slopes of the Vel Stella Alpina and Santa Croce.
Of course, all intermediate & expert skiers who visit the region should make sure they don’t miss the world-famous Sellaronda route around the breathtaking Sella massif.
Snowboarders will love the 3 snow parks which cater to beginner and expert snowboarders. One of the parks is even purpose-built for kids to try their first ski & snowboard tricks.
Cross-country skiers can choose to ski in the San Cassiano/Armentarola area surrounded by the mountain peaks of the Conturines, Lavarela, and Lagazuoi or in the Corvara area on trails of easy to medium difficulty.
