Due to the Scandinavian climate, Geilo is a unique resort with some of Europe’s most reliable, solid snow conditions. Eighteen ski lifts serve direct access to 28km of downhill skiing, with 33 individual pistes.

Beginners can explore Slaatta in its fantastic beginner area. When you are ready to progress onto longer greens, go across the other side of the valley or try the blue down to Havsdalen.

Intermediates or advances have a decent amount of red or blue slopes to explore and develop their skills. Additionally, there are four marked blacks and a red run if you are ready for a challenge.

With many other activities to keep even the most active families and groups entertained, Geilo has several lively bars and ski lounges to relax.
