Val di Fassa Ski Resort
Val di Fassa is situated in the Italian region of Trentino. It is made up of seven different resorts – among them, Canazei, Campitello and Pozza di Fassa which are by far considered the most popular. All of them surrounding the Sella Ronda, a circuit tied to the Dolomiti Superski, the largest ski area in Europe with 1,200km of piste.
Although Val di Fassa is suited for most beginners – considering the progressive blue runs coupled with the amazing ski schools in each village; Val di Fassa would become an unforgettable thrill if beginners jumped on the easy red runs. Having said that, beginners can start at Canazei, on the village slope before taking the Belvedere gondola to Pecol.
From the aforementioned areas, you can transition to Sella Ronda and enjoy the 42km circuit surrounding Sella Massif, and thus take advantage of the extensive areas of Arabba, Corvara, Colfosco and Val Gardena. As for experts, the north-facing slopes in Arabba offer the most intimidating skiing in the Dolomites.
