Valloire Ski Resort

Valloire is a French ski resort that gives you access to 150km of downhill skiing, 78 individual pistes and 30 ski lifts. The best feature about this resort is its variety of terrains, starting from the wooded trails in La Setaz, moving over to Cret de la Brive and then farther ahead Le Crey du Quart, where you’re able to find the twin resorts of Valmeinier.

The resort is ideal for beginners and intermediates due to the progressive runs you can encounter, which are broad and open to cruise in case you’d like more space to improve your skills. First-timers have the opportunity to test it out with an experienced instructor. If you are a more experienced skier, you have the Olympic run on the Grandes Drozes – which descends to one of the twin resorts sitting at 1430m. In the event you’d like to experience something different, the Parapente – or the act of skiing off the mountain with a parachute – is a very popular practice in Valloire.

The two snowparks are among the best in Europe.
